My husband and I have been married just under 2 years (July is our anniversary). A year ago he was medically retired because of his back and other ailments....and that is when this all began. There are a lot of issues that contribute to how bad it has become; and I hope that blogging about it will help me through it. Hopefully some good folks will read/follow and give their ear and advice.
I am 42 and my husband is 47. I work full time as an International Freight Forwarder. I adore what I do for a living; but it can be stressful at times. I deal with deadlines, letters of credit, large monetary value cargo; project timelines, truckers, steamship lines and the laws and regulations of almost every country in the world. I ship anything from paperclips and household goods to earth moving machines, bullets and vehicles....and any and everything in between.
I have one son, who is 12 and a halfway decent relationship with my ex-husband (his father). My son is a terrific kid by anyone's standards; and all he wanted was a father-figure in the house (his dad doesn't live nearby).
